  • Activity Evaluation from a First Time Participant’s Questionnaire of “ Lunch Time Open Lecture on Health and Music Concert for the Public”
    (40) 118-121 Mar. 2014
The “Luke Navi Lunch time open lecture on health and music concert for the public” occurs once a month at the St. Luke’s College of Nursing. This study aimed to anonymously evaluate the participation in such an event using a questionnaire. The results indicated 493 participants had attended the event 20 times between May 2010 and May 2013, of which 178 had participated for the first time in this event. Based on the responses to the questionnaire, first-time participants experienced high levels of satisfaction. It was found that by providing a combination of the music concert and lecture, participants had a higher tendency to attend such an event. In addition to promotion via posters, the possibility of improving public relations using new media such as Twitter and the Web has been suggested as a manner of informing the public in the future.
